There may be times you need a little more information about a transaction than you can find by checking the transaction information in your Waves wallet. In that case you can find more information by entering the Transaction ID into Waves Explorer.
STEP 1: First find the Transaction ID of the transaction you would like to investigate by using the instructions in the tutorial here.
STEP 2: Copy the Transaction ID then go to https://wavesexplorer.com/.
STEP 3: Type the Transaction ID of the transaction you would like to know more about.
Then press “Enter” to search.
You will then see the Transaction ID you entered next to “Transaction”.
You will also see information such as the type of transaction, in this case it was an “Asset Transfer”.
You will see the time and date of the transaction and the block this transaction was included in.
You will see the wallet address that received the tokens.
In this case they received 60 Asimi.
You will see the transaction fee in waves of 0.001 Waves
If there was any note made about this transaction you will see it next to “Attachment”
In this case this was a deposit to Hashing Ad Space and the note says “to has”.
This is a note the sender enters when they send the tokens.
You will also so the wallet address the tokens were sent from “Sender”.
You may also want to track some transactions you have made with a wallet in Waves.
In that case enter your wallet address instead of the Transaction ID.
You will see dates, times, amounts and other information for transactions from and to that wallet address.
