How to Create an Account in Waves Exchange

You can register an account with Waves using the link below. Download the Desktop Wallet or Mobile App and be careful to write down the 15 word seed phrase in the exact order given, and keep it safe. If you lose access to the device you downloaded your wallet to, or if your device becomes inoperable etc. you will have no access to your wallet or the funds in that wallet without this seed phrase.

You have several choices to use the Waves Exchange

Mobile app and wallet for iOS or Android

To use on a mobile device download the app from Google Play for Android, or App Store for Apple

Be sure to write down in the order given the 15 word Seed Phrase

To download to a desktop for Window, Mac OS or Linux use the following instructions.

1. After clicking the link above and accessing the site click on “Download”.

2. Choose your Operating System: Mac, Windows or Linux

After clicking on “Download” and waiting for the download to complete, go to finder and click on “Downloads”. Find the Waves Exchange dmg file , double click the file to begin the installation. Once installation is complete drag the app into the applications folder.

To open Waves Exchange you will now go to “Launchpad” to launch the application.

You will see a pop up asking you if you want to open the application. Click on “Open”.

Click on “Create Account”.

“Create a password” – then enter the password again to “Confirm Password”.

Click “Continue”.

Click on “Create A New Account”.

Choose any Avatar you like and click “Continue”.

Give your account a name of your choosing and click “Continue”.

You will now see the Exchange.

Be sure to pay attention here to this pop up asking you to save your back up phrase or “Seed Phrase”.

Click on “Find” or you can click on your Avatar in the right top corner.

Then click on “Settings”.

Then choose “Security”.

Click on “Show” where it says “Seed Phrase”.

You can also click on “Copy” to copy and save in a file. It is best to write this down or print out on paper and keep it safe. If you save on your computer andf you have a computer problem you will not have access to your wallet or to the file where you saved it. Be sure if you write it down to write down the 15 words in the order given.

To install on Windows please follow the instructions below, or watch this video for instructions

Go to https://waves.exchange/.
Hover over "Download" Then choose "Windows".

Choose the location where you want the file to be saved, then click on “Save”.
We suggest you save in “Downloads”.

Once the download is complete go to your “Downloads Folder” and find the file “Waves Exchange”
Double click the file Or you can click at the bottom of your screen on the download to open.
